Hiroshima Day – In Search of the Vernacular – book launch tonight – link to Bfm interview!

Today is Hiroshima Day. A day for reflection and exactly one year since the beginning of the Cultural Mapping Project exhibition Sum of the Parts. A significant day to launch Depot Artspace’s independent publication In Search of the Vernacular.

The launch will be held at the Depot from 5.30 – 7.30pm tonight with guest speakers and contributors Denys Trussell, Nigel Brown, Ruby Watson and Ruth Coombs.  Ruth Coombs (of WILPF – the Womens International League for Peace and Freedom) will lead a commemorative candle lighting for Hiroshima post opening speeches.
