The Depot Artspace Cultural Icons project celebrates people who have contributed significantly to New Zealand’s creative landscape. It is an inspirational series of recorded interviews that share the histories, stories and experiences of some of our most significant visual artists, architects, publishers, entrepreneurs, writers, musicians, arts commentators and philanthropists.

Cultural Icons has been the inspiration behind many Depot projects including the Cultural Mapping Project and the Museum of the Vernacular. You can get involved and contribute to the continuation of this important national archive by donating to Cultural Icons through the Boosted project.

Boosted is a new crowd-funding platform just for creative projects from/in Aotearoa New Zealand.
