The Depot’s philosophy is ‘creating an environment that encourages creating’. This exhibition explores the characteristics that embody the community and encourages people to take part in identifying those components that are meaningful to them. It will take account of landmarks, history, people past and present and their relationships with one another and influences on the community. Opportunities will be provided for people to actively engage in ‘community building’ or to create their own community identity through the connections they identify and make with their own sense of place.
